Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. You will have the rest of the day to relax and acclimate to Tanzania.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Today, you will spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park. You will have the chance to see various wildlife species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4: Tarangire to Ndutu
After breakfast, you will drive to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti. Along the way, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive in Ndutu in the late afternoon, where you will settle into your lodge and enjoy dinner.
Day 5-8: Ndutu Migration Safari
You will spend the next four days exploring the Ndutu area, which is home to the annual wildebeest migration. You will have the opportunity to see massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles as they move across the plains in search of fresh grass. You will also have the chance to see predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas as they hunt for their next meal. You will return to your lodge in the evenings for dinner and relaxation.
Day 9: Ndutu to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will depart Ndutu and drive to the Central Serengeti. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner.
Day 10: Central Serengeti to Arusha
On your final day, you will enjoy a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti before returning to your lodge for breakfast. You will then drive back to Arusha, where you will have lunch and some time for souvenir shopping before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
